Privacy policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use cleansheetconsulting.co.uk, why, who else handles it, and what your rights are. It’s written to be read, so it’s short.
Who is responsible for your data
Cleansheet is run by Ryan Jarrett, a sole trader. Ryan Jarrett is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For anything to do with your data, email hello@cleansheetconsulting.co.uk or write to11 Merleburgh Drive, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 2RW.
What is collected and why
When you send a message
The contact form asks for your name, email address, your website (optional) and your message. This is used to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to discuss and provide the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to enquiries.
When you book a call
The booking calendar on the contact page is provided by Cal.com, and only loads when you choose to show it. If you book a call, Cal.com collects the details you enter (such as your name and email address) and shares them with Cleansheet so the call can take place. Cal.com’s own privacy policy also applies to the booking calendar, which may set its own cookies or similar storage.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a message comes from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and connection to do this. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in keeping the form free of spam and abuse.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in running a secure website and understanding how it is used.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own, so there is no cookie banner. The Cal.com booking calendar may set cookies, so it only loads on the contact page when you click to show it. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the contact form, may use similar technologies that are needed for it to work.
Who your data is shared with
Your data is never sold. It is shared only with the services needed to run the site:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security, spam protection and analytics
- Resend: delivering contact form messages by email
- Cal.com: call booking
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
Messages and booking details that don’t lead to any work are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, your details are kept for as long as the work continues and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to ask for it to be transferred to someone else. To do any of these, email hello@cleansheetconsulting.co.uk. You’ll get a reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. It would be appreciated if you got in touch first so the problem can be put right.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
